A Bit About Me

I'm a freelance research consultant with 10 years experience focusing on political risk and peacebuilding in West and Central Africa. This entails working with businesses and consultancies to research, analyse and forecast the security and regulatory environment for investments in countries from the Central African Republic to Mali, as well as helping NGOs to research opportunities to build peace between warring parties across these regions of Africa.

I'm also currently writing a book published by Bloomsbury, entitled Life After War: Lessons in Human-Centred Peacebuilding from Côte d'Ivoire, which gives a voice to the experiences of Ivorian citizens in the aftermath of the 2002-2011 conflict.

I have a PhD in post-conflict peacebuilding in Côte d'Ivoire from King's College London and I have travelled and worked extensively in West Africa, especially in Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal and Mali.
